Hi! I'm Lucas, and I’m here to support you on your journey with Able & Beyond.
I’ve spent over fourteen years working as an educator, helping children and young people learn, grow, and feel more confident.I specialise in supporting neurodiverse learners and those with SEND. I’ve worked for many years as a Special Needs Teacher with pupils with a range of needs, including PMLD and ASD. I love using creative, hands-on activities—like music, art, and sensory exploration—to build life skills, communication, and independence in a fun, meaningful way.I believe in support that feels personal and comfortable. I take time to listen, understand each learner’s style, and adapt sessions to what works best for them. I’m also fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, which helps me connect with families from different backgrounds.My goal is simple: to help every child feel confident, capable, and supported as they grow.

We support families directly, offering personalised, one-to-one sessions that are designed to build confidence, engagement, and meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for each learner.Safeguarding is central to everything we do. We follow the Department for Education’s Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, and all tutors working with AbleBeyond hold enhanced DBS checks and complete rigorous safer-recruitment screening. Our Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment policies are available in the footer of our website, along with our Attendance and Behaviour policies, which ensure a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment for every child we work with.
